2019 Events

Christmas Caroling

On Sunday December 15th, a few of us joined up with Lorena Hernandez and her family to sing some Christmas carols at a handful of homes for seniors. Thank you Lorena for inviting us to spread some Christmas joy with you all.

Fall Celebration

On Saturday November 2nd, our friends and family joined us in Palm Springs to celebrate the fall season. We spent the afternoon eating pizza, ice cream, and walking around downtown. Then we took the Aerial Tramway to Mount San Jacinto State Park and did some hiking and then had dinner together before returning to the O.C.

Summer Celebration

On Saturday July 27th, our family and friends joined together with the families of OC Latino Youth Leadership (LYL) for a park day. We had a great time competing against each other in different games, as well as, enjoying some delicious BBQ burgers. A special thanks to: President & Director of LYL Ariel Meza for collaborating with us; Lee Vasquez for coordinating the games; Rudy Duarte for organizing the scavenger hunt; Neil Lualemaga for grilling all the meat; and especially Reconnect Ministries for your generosity & faithfulness that makes events like these possible.

Wedding Celebration

On January 26th, Rudy & Julie professed their love to one another and entered into holy matrimony by taking their sacred vows in the presence of family, friends, and our Lord Jesus Christ. On behalf of our Reconnect Ministries' family, congratulations! We love you and look forward to supporting your new family. May God Bless each of you with the inward qualities of integrity, trust, cooperation and above all…forgiveness that you may live together in love and in peace.
